AdviQual (together: “we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your right to privacy and is providing this statement of privacy to inform you of our practices regarding personal content or information which you may provide us with through our Websites or by any other means. This statement refers to websites adviqual.com and adviqual.com.tr (including subdomains), both owned and/or operated by AdviQual (the “Websites”).

By accessing and using the Websites, you indicate that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy, as may be updated by AdviQual from time to time (the “Privacy Policy”). If you do not agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Websites or services.

Collection of Personal Identifiable Information

AdviQual does not require its Websites’ users or visitors to provide Personal Identifiable Information ("PII") to view the content on the Websites. 

AdviQual may collect PII from the users or visitors of the Websites who voluntarily choose to provide PII upon registration to one of our services or to enable us to contact them. Such information may include full name, address, phone number (work/mobile), e-mail, and link to the company web address. In addition, consultants or experts who would like to engage with AdviQual may also be required to provide their CVs.

Please note that if you complete a form on behalf of an organization or entity, you are urged to provide that organization or entity’s information and not your personal information.

Other Information Collected

We (including the assistance of service providers) may collect various types of non-PII when you visit our Websites. Examples of non-PII that may be collected from visitors and users include: internet protocol address, type of browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Internet Explorer), type of operating system (e.g., Microsoft Windows or Mac OS), web pages visited, websites visited before, and after visiting the Websites, type of handheld or mobile device used to view the Websites (e.g., iPhone, Samsung) and Websites’ content accessed. We may use third parties to conduct web analytics and similar services concerning an individual's interaction with our Websites.

Process of Sensitive Information 

AdviQual does not require the Websites’ users or visitors to provide sensitive information and does not intentionally collect or process otherwise sensitive information. 

You are at this moment asked not to provide us with any sensitive information while using our Websites or services (such as forms or documents concerning patients). If you believe that such information is required to engage with us, please get in touch with us offline. Please contact your account manager or the relevant office.

Minor’s Privacy 

Personal information about minors (under 18 years of age) is not knowingly or intentionally collected. If you are a minor, please neither engage us nor use our services. 

Aggregated or Anonymized Information 

AdviQual collects within the operation of the Websites anonymized and aggregated information, and such information does not identify you personally. Such anonymised or aggregated data may be used in any way, including by posting, disseminating, transmitting, or otherwise communicating or making it available to any other third party.

Third Party Links

The Websites may contain or present third-party links to third-party sites or services – all of which are not owned or controlled by us. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such third-party sites or services, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Please refer to those other sites’ and services' privacy policies in order to determine whether their privacy practices are acceptable to you.

Transfer of Data outside Your Territory 

AdviQual may store and process information in various locations around the globe. If you are a resident of a jurisdiction where the transfer of your Identified Information to another jurisdiction requires your consent,  you hereby provide us with your express consent for the transfer of your data.

Use of Collected Information

The information collected may be used for the following purposes only:
(a) To manage the administrative and operational aspects of our Websites;

(b) To provide you with our or the Websites’ functionality and services;

(c) To provide you with our newsletter and/or any other advertising material which we may distribute from time to time to our potential clients and/or other business partners for marketing purposes;

(d) To be able to communicate with you and/or contact you based on your request for information and for any sales promotion purposes or to use your professional services in the future. In such cases, we may keep a record of that correspondence, and we may collect your name, email address, phone numbers, and other professional and personal information that you have provided us with;

(e) To improve and customize the users’ and visitors’ experience on the Websites and develop new services, capabilities, and features;

(f) To take any action in any case of a dispute involving you with respect to the Websites;

(g) To enforce the Websites’ terms of use and prevent unlawful activities and misuse of the Websites; and,

(e) Upon bankruptcy, dissolution or other liquidation or insolvency events or in the event of a merger, sale or transfer of all or a portion of our assets or other reorganisationin our ongoing business, the information that we collect or obtain, as outlined in the preceding sections, may be shared with or transferred to that respective entity, provided that it undertakes to be bound by the provisions of this Privacy Policy, with reasonably necessary changes taken into consideration. Upon such transfer or sharing of information, such entity will assume the complete and exclusive responsibility for all subsequent use and processing it makes of the data; AdviQual will be released from any liability to you regarding said entity’s use and processing of the data.

In any case other than the above mentioned in this Privacy Policy, your personally identifiable information will be shared with others only if you provide your consent.

Choice / Opt–out

When registering for our Websites, you may receive occasional email updates from AdviQual. Such updates can include a newsletter or other notifications about the Websites or our services. We provide you with the opportunity to 'opt-out’ of having your PII used for such purposes when we ask for this information. For example, if you no longer wish to receive our email updates, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each update.

Data Security

AdviQual uses commercially reasonable safeguards to preserve your personal and business information security. Nevertheless, AdviQual cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information provided to us through the Websites, including that such information will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of AdviQual's safeguards.

Your Rights with the Data

If you no longer desire our services or would like to request that we delete your personal information, you may contact us at info@adviqual.com.

In addition, you have a right to receive a copy of the data collected about you in the course of our Websites or services by contacting us at: info@adviqual.com. You may correct or update certain PII by contacting us.

Use of Cookies and Server Logs

Cookies (which may be HTML files, Flash files or other technology) are text files that help store user preferences and activity; "web beacons" (also known as image tags, gif or web bugs) are small pieces of code used to collect data, such as counting page views or promotion views. The Websites may use "cookies", "web beacons" and other equivalent technologies to collect non-PII automatically as you access and browse the Websites. This Privacy Policy covers the use of cookies by AdviQual only and does not cover the use of cookies by any other third party.

AdviQual may use session cookies to make it easier to navigate through the Websites. A session ID cookie expires once you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period. You may remove persistent cookies by following directions provided in your Internet browser's "help" file.

By visiting the Websites, whether as a registered user or otherwise, you acknowledge, understand and at this moment agree that you are giving us your consent to gather information about your use of the Websites through cookies and web beacons.

Data Retention 

We may delete your PII from our systems or anonymise it if we deem it no longer necessary for our reasonable business needs.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be changed from time to time. Substantial changes will take effect thirty (30) days after an initial notification is posted on the Websites. Other changes will take effect immediately after their initial posting. However, if this Privacy Policy is amended to comply with legal requirements, the amendments will become effective immediately upon their initial posting or as required. The most up-to-date Privacy Policy is accessible on the Websites.

You agree to be bound by any changes made to this Privacy Policy. Your continued use of the Website after the changes take effect will indicate your acceptance of the amended Privacy Policy. If you disagree with the amended Privacy Policy, you must avoid any further use of the Websites. 

Governing Law, Jurisdiction 

This Privacy Policy will be governed by and construed by the laws of Turkey.

The Courts located in Istanbul, Turkey, shall have sole and exclusive jurisdiction over you and AdviQual and the subject matter of this Privacy Policy. Each party at this moment expressly consents to personal jurisdiction in Turkey and expressly waives any right to object to such personal jurisdiction or the convenience of such forum.

Please note that no entity worldwide, whether a representative, distributor, contractor, reseller or affiliate of AdviQual, is authorised to accept service of process on behalf of AdviQual.

Miscellaneous

In the event that any provision of this Privacy Policy is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Privacy Policy, which shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of this Privacy Policy shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and a party's failure to assert any right or provision under this Privacy Policy shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. The section headings in this Privacy Policy are included for convenience only and shall take no part in interpreting or construing this Privacy Policy. In this Privacy Policy, the word "including" is used illustratively, as if followed by the phrase"but not limited to”.
